SNOW DAY POLICY
On snow days this studio will be open if roads are passable. Please come if you are comfortable driving. Otherwise, please notify Kathy that you will not be coming, and she will schedule a make-up lesson for you. This may be a group lesson. Students will not have a make-up lesson if the roads are passable and students opt not to attend their lesson.
Need to miss your scheduled lesson because of an illness, appointment, travel, rehearsal, special event... ? Please join me for a group make-up lesson offered each month.

Voice Lessons
At The Kathy Morgan Singing Studio in Herndon, Virginia, the goal is to help each student find joy and creative expression in singing, and to integrate healthy vocal technique that frees each student's true singing voice. Lessons are taught in a supportive and interactive environment.
Kathy works to help each student:
- Develop tone, breath control, intonation, emphasis, and relaxation.
- Improve placement, phrasing, ear training, diction, interpretation, and performance skills.
- Gain awareness of the physical tensions and habits that may hinder an individual voice, and develop the student’s physical, emotional, and technical capacity to sing freely.
- Enhance each student’s enjoyment and confidence while singing.
I hope all of my students enjoy the process of working to develop and enhance their unique singing voices.

Kathy Morgan has studied and performed music for more than 25 years. Kathy has a degree in education with an academic specialty in music. She has been teaching singing lessons to elementary, middle, and high school students as well as adults in the Herndon, Virginia, area since she opened her studio in 2005. [ MORE ]

Private Voice Lessons
Lessons are designed to teach singing skills and technique that will help students develop their singing talent and enhance confidence during singing and performing. Lessons include vocal warm-ups and exercises focusing on singing technique which is applied to diverse song literature.
